To answer the title before I watch the video, I don't think so. I think there's something we don't know about Betts, and I think Houston really will come along as a true speed guy on the edge as he recovers from his injury. Not to mention i bet campbell knows how to get the most out of davenport (will probably be wnd+long, 3rd down guy) That combined with corner and safety blitzes, I think we'll be just fine. Paschal needs to play 3 tech. Both alim and DJ were ranked top 10 last year against the run, aims pass rushing grade probably increases (again) this year too. We are just fine

The Lions are not adding another DE. I am going to say this once again for the 1000th time Josh Paschal and John Cominsky are not good at being outside pass-rushers. If the goal is to increase pressure and get sacks it is not going to come from Paschal he was not a high producer in college,he needs to move inside permanently where he will strive.

To be fair the clock management and in-game decisions were sorely lacking in the first year and a half of MCDC. We here in Detroit have seen the growth and the better decisions and we always liked the personality and the culture building. It is a credit to Dan that he took the criticism and made the adjustments needed to become the coach that he is today.
